Sigma X is geared toward organization, confidence and comfort. We wanted to create the ultimate grab-and-go hoodie that's ready for a multitude of travel and exploration scenarios while also providing the highest level of comfort and uncompromisingly good looks. 

Now you can have your travel documents, passport, entertainment, phone and accessories all perfectly organized in a sleek, low profile package. We wanted to include an oversized pocket as we made the observation that many aircraft these days do not have infotainment screens, which, as it turns out are being intentionally phased out by multiple carriers. The inconvenience of reaching for and rummaging through your overhead carry-on for electronics mid flight in tight and cramped quarters amongst agitated fellow passengers is discouraging enough. Thankfully, Sigma X is ready for whatever else airlines take away from you in the future, and virtually eliminates the need for carry-on luggage.

Plus, all the storage spaces truly make Sigma X EDC ready.

Lets start with the 5 smart-storage hidden pockets and slots perfect for travel and EDC. The largest super pocket is a perfect fit for an 8.3” tablet.  Just below that, is a quick-reach pocket, which is a full width pocket, shorter in height than the super pocket. Its great for temporary holding spot for travel documents, passports, glasses or anything else you need to tuck away and then quickly retrieve. 

Oversized Entertainment Pocket

Then we have our classic smartphone pocket, which has been a staple of our design for years now. Then we have 2 slot pockets. Great for pens, styluses or as we use it, for a charcoal toothbrush. The final 2 outer pockets are oversized and have variable geometry based on sizing for improved aesthetics and a better hold.

There are several design elements that showcase the skill and talent of the cutting and sewing team. This includes the very technical 4 panel, 3 piece hood. The hood gives the appearance of a traditional hood from the front, only to reveal the contour form fit present in 3 piece hoods. Not only does this hood require skill during assembly, the geometry of the sleeve seams matches perfectly with that of the inner hood panel seams. This is very hard to do and a time consuming detail. The full wrap around elbow reinforcements are sewn to laser-like precision with tolerances down to the 1 or 2 millimeters.

100% Cotton Rules

All Sigma X hoodies use a Made in USA, 100% cotton fleece in the fabric body. Say no to plastic hoodies that try to imitate cotton. Plastic (PET) hoodies collect sweat on your skin, which often leads to irritation, odors (even in “odor resistant” polys), and discomfort, not to mention the pollution nightmare plastic fabric creates for the environment. Well, we’ve gone in the complete opposite direction with our 100% cotton fleece fabric.

Corespun and Kevlar Thread

We use Corespun and Kevlar Thread in the assembly of Sigma X. Corespun is a premium thread variety that features wraps around central core filament creating an incredibly strong stitch drastically reducing seam failure and fraying. Its perfect for the areas with movement such as sleeve and body joints. Kevlar is a great thread with incredible strength properties and virtually no elasticity. This makes it great for shape retention and pockets / storage compartments. We skillfully use both varieties in different areas throughout to get the most of their features and properties. All of our thread is Made in USA to the strictest manufacturing standards, as these threads are often used in military, first responder and other heavy duty applications.

We’ve been designing true unisex clothing for almost 10 years now, going all the way to 2015 with our first design, featuring a double pleated high taper which created a natural drape on all body shapes. We’ve taken a multitude of body types and sizes into consideration, with sizing ranging from Small to XXXL.
