Works with All Kinds of Dishware

The kitten’s paws are shaped in such a way to securely hook onto any straight-edge dishware (0.08”-0.23” or 2 mm-6 mm in thickness).

The robot can also sit on a table to cool your plated food.

Blowing Like Humans Would 

NFF uses an internal fan to send out breezy streams of air through the mouth.  You have two FuRhythms (blowing patterns) to choose from: 

• STEADY blowing with regular intervals
• RANDOMIZED flow of air with various rhythms and intervals — just in the way a human might!

This tiny robot is designed to fit in your pocket or purse easily, so you can use it anytime, anywhere! NFF is:

The silicon-made body is washable and easy to clean. You’ll never have to change batteries because NFF is rechargeable. Each charge lasts up to 60 minutes.

What Does ‘NFF’ mean?

• Do you avoid hot drinks because your tongue easily gets burned by them?
• Do you blow on your Ramen for a long time before digging in?
• If you said yes, you have a “Nékojita” — or “cat tongue” in Japanese. The word refers to heat sensitivity in the mouth — the common condition that affects people around the world.

How the Project Began

If you are a parent, or heat-sensitive eater, you must spend a lot of time and energy “fufu-ing” (blowing breath) to cool your/your kid’s meals.

As has been a fact of life for Tsubasa, our team member, his wife and sons all have a terrible Nékojita, and he’s wanted to help ease their sufferings from it.

One day, feeling dizzy from blowing with all his might to cool food for his toddler sons, he thought: “What if a robot could do this for us?” 

Tsubasa’s idea inspired all of us to come together and make it a reality in true Yukai fashion — that is, to create a robot that brings joy to your life. 

Though our journey in developing NFF wasn’t as smooth as we’d initially hoped, though. 

And so was born NFF, the little kitten robot that never quits blowing for you — and spreads cheer from atop a bowl to brighten up your mealtimes!
